You’re asking me to stay,
But I’d rather go,
You’re saying you love me,
Sure if you say so.
All along the wall,
I see you standing,
Waiting for me,
But keep on walking,
I am not gonna come.
I’ve got it all figured out,
I’m gonna go my way,
You’re nowhere in the picture,
Don’t keep going along the wall.
You ripe my heart,
Left me here bleeding,
And now you’ve come,
But the wall is too high.
Is it enough to live?
Is it enough to be loved?
There is much more,
You just couldn’t figure.
I wish you’d stop,
Look for a new beginning,
Put a happy face,
And go on living.
You’d say what I have is ordinary,
It’s just that you don’t understand,
There is too much to be discovered,
All along this wall.
